No! We gain quicker in our teens and 20's due to higher
natural hormone levels, but I have helped individuals in all age groups to
achieve consistent muscle gains and fat loss. If it takes an 18 year old
3 months to achieve x results, it will take a 60 year old longer, and he may not
achieve the same level of muscle due to age (since hormone levels decline), but
the training program remains identical, and results are consistent.
Of course,
those in their 30's-40's need not worry, as they can still gain at speeds close
to their younger counterparts, and those 50+ will still produce consistent,
dramatic progress (I have a testimonial from a 50 year old on this site who achieved an amazing transformation, and a 62 year old lifter has also written a testimonial for my program. Significant results are possible at any age, as long as you
are sufficiently healthy to train. Age is only a factor if you allow it to
influence you mentally.
If you are under 18, please email me after you read the book, as I will send you some changes to the workout to reduce the chance of any impact on future height (by eliminating movements that compress the spine).
The longer you wait to start, the more you will be tempted to experiment with gimmicks that do not provide you with an ounce of new muscle mass. If you are going to change your body, it must be done with brute force, by eating and exercising in a way that encourages new muscle growth. Don't allow age to influence your outlook for physical fitness, as good diet and exercise habits can positively impact many aspects of life, including health, which due to the poor eating habits of many, is a serious consideration. |
