Most who desire quick increases in weight fail to realize the many
elements comprising such a figure -- MUSCLE AND FAT cause the all
encompassing body weight number to fluctuate, and ALL TOO OFTEN
individuals settle for FAT increase in lieu of muscle gains. I
CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH THE IMPORTANCE OF PROPER DIET TO THOSE PURSUING
DESIRABLE WEIGHT GAINS (MUSCLE)! I've heard many brag
over 20 new pounds of weight in a short period -- yet one must ask,
20 NEW POUNDS OF WHAT? If it's simply FAT weight, you're not going
to improve the MIRROR appearance, only the scale reading. Again, the
goal is to IMPROVE APPEARANCE, and the only possible
way of ensuring such a state is to MINIMIZE FAT GAINS! HIGH calorie,
haphazard weight gain diet plans lead to 50+% FAT increases, which
is the VERY OPPOSITE of what you wish to achieve -- NEVER FORGET
THIS! I suffered from VERY high body fat levels in my attempt to
gain muscle weight, and unfortunately, many others follow similar
flawed advice (easily found on various Internet sites, bodybuilding
magazines, and news groups). IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO GAIN FAT, SIMPLY
EAT LARGE QUANTITIES AND TRAIN WITH HEAVY WEIGHTS! Weight gain in
the form of MUSCLE requires specific, detailed diet and training
rules, none of which originate from "traditional" weight gain
tidbits. |
